Lets start with Cons. since there is just one and that is not getting the "sexy" sticker from the community to get pushed like SOL or ETH. If people don't accept it as a "cool thing" it won't make it.
The pros: Pretty much everything else. Nowhere even close to ATH, having a dedicated community, having some large promoters in the back (eg. Alex Becker) and some real life use case projects with large legacy companies all over the world. Imho, the price is the most mindboggling since almpost all large alts have been pushed to new ATHs, but AVAX is still somewhat flying under the radar. Imagine the price of AVAX if their market cap becomes the same as the one of Binance at the moment, it would be a clean 10x from here and if the greed really kicks in, there are certainly chances of getting even higher. However, I would take profit at this stage since than it will be close to become outperformed for this cycle.

Yeah seems like a solid business model off the jump, especially if they’re ever able to take out collateral on their AVAX with a bank. A whole swath of opportunities opens from this

During this recent market drop in BTC and ETH I saw AVAX was very strong. I like to see strength during drawbacks. I’m in and it seems like it has a lot of room to grow. I put 3k down at 32.50. If you are in AVAX what are your catalysts, pros, cons, PTs?

So many people have speculated on alt season, wondering why there tokens are mooning. Let me give you some insight.
**Alt season is going on right now**
This cycle has an absence of retail. **The market is focused on 2 things**
1. Platforms that generate huge fees-ASTER, AVNT, PUMP,
2. Tokens that have massive institutional inflows AVAX, SOL, IP, STBL
If what you're holding doesn't fit one of those 2 criteria, dump it.
These tokens have seen multiple X's, with ASTER being the darling of the year.
Let me give you an uncomfortable truth
**YOUR ALTS ARE DEAD AND NOT GOING TO PUMP**
Nobody cares about HBAR, ADA, TON, ATOM, ICP. They are stagnant systems with underwater bag holders waiting to sell.
the market does not care how secure, decentralized or good the tek is. If there isn't a direct etf pumping money into it or a platform making $2M+ a day it has no mindshare.
I tell you this not to be a dick, but so **you do not squander the opportunity in the existing alt season.**

This is exactly why most retail get rinsed in crypto. You’re hunting for the magic ticker that 2–3x’s while ignoring the fact that the entire space trades on Bitcoin’s leash. Alts only run when BTC allows them to. If dominance spikes or Bitcoin dumps, every “wise investment” you listed bleeds the same way.
Eighteen months isn’t short term in crypto. That’s an entire cycle. Coins you’re hyped on now might not even exist by then. Ask the people who went all-in on EOS or LUNA how “smart” their picks felt two years later.
If you want to speculate, fine, but size it like a lottery ticket. If you want actual investment, stick with BTC, ETH, or real-world assets like gold. Chasing Solana vs Sui vs AVAX is just picking which casino table to sit at. None of them will save you if your timing is wrong.
The edge isn’t the coin. It’s your framework for risk and timing. Without that, you’re just donating to whoever sells into the next hype pump.
