The L1s could be a good thng tho at this stage it's largely my opinion/speculation....
I don't believe Circle and Co are trying to compete with Ethereum. Imagine a future scenario where you transact with someone who only uses Solana. They can send USDC from their Solana wallet to your ethereum wallet via ARC.
Not only does that transfer TVL in, but it also makes it easier for that other person to be onboarded to Ethereum using their existing funds on Sol.
