One of those early religions that made it over put hard work and suffering over all else. That's the GOP.

My point is that it’s not *just Trump*. It’s newt Gingrich and George bush, it’s Reagan, it’s Paul Ryan and Trump, it’s been the GOP strategy for government finance for the last **70 years**.
It hasn’t worked. They’ve hoodwinked the country time and time again. Republicans are the opposition party of democrats who don’t every follow through on their rhetoric so I can understand built up frustration turning into support there. However the many things the GOP *claims to be* are just that. Paper-thin promises with decades of their own policy to refute the words actively coming from their mouths.
It’s the literal definition of insanity.
I’ve watched deficit hawks twist themselves in knots for 3 different tax cuts now because the party that *uses them* for their support juices the deficit at every chance they get.

And American workers will instead continue to vote GOP for higher prices, smaller wages, layoffs and corruption.

No one can function with the mental clarity required for any position of responsibility on three hours sleep per night. Mind you who would take Mike Johnson’s claims at face value. Frankly they are absurd. As others have mentioned, DJT is an elderly man whose health and in particular his cognitive abilities are questionable (seriously the man thought the MMSE is akin to the WAIS or Stanford-Binet test). These claims are fanciful at best though I tend to believe it is yet another example of the GOP painting their leader as resilient; special. Oh, he’s special alright!

Why? See there's this thing Republicans rammed through the Supreme Court years ago called Citizen's United, that declared Corporations as people; with the same Constitutional Rights as any other American.
One of those Rights is Freedom of Speech and Netflix being one of the richest companies can afford to propagate whatever speech they want, including "Woke" speech as you so eloquently described.
So let's all raise a toast to the GOP's greatest contribution to the Woke Agenda: Citizen's United.

remember SNAP money frequently goes to groceries from US Farmers. Can't wait for the farmers to realize that the GOP only wants their vote.

Honestly, this is the mask ripped off the GOP. Everyone has known this, but they've always hid it. Trump's just saying it openly. After he's gone, the mask will come back up, republicans will somehow deny they were ever aware of this, the media will let them, and we'll go back to solving fake problems around racism.

I'm going to make it really simple for people who might get confused: the only hate-based party that exists in the United States is the GOP and they exist exclusively for white interests. You have a binary choice between so-called "wokeness" and white supremacy. There's no middle ground or third option. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Im not employed by Fidelity, and would work for them for all the money in the world.
What are you excited about?
FINRA arbitration fraud. Bloated dollar denominated “securities” infesting your country like the GOP maggots infesting Mexico an sliming Canada?
Our stock and bond markets are nonphysical, unsecured, diluted, misrated, overvalued, manipulated, unstable, whipsawing, corrupt, ponzified, unsustainable, unproductive, high frequency traded, infested by private equity and unregulated by a horrifically incompetent SEC that ignores Ponzi schemes for decades and led by a bloated, deer in the headlights, CEO or commissioner ‘purse dog’ with the impeccable pedigree (because bitches have pedigrees) of a Wall Street floor mat.
FINRA turns non-regulation into profit and the FIO doesn’t even PRETEND to regulate insurance markets.  Our markets are executive compensation schemes, pump and dump media and GAAP, which is pure accounting deception.
These markets are a burden on any REAL economy.

I don’t think that’s really in the cards right now. You’d need the GOP of like 2012 to be revived and take power and I don’t see a route to that happening any time in the foreseeable future.

Not really. More so shining a spotlight on the hypocrisy of politicians who are ok with charging $2T+ in tax breaks for those who don’t need them on the backs of SNAP & Medicaid recipients.
They’re (GOP) outraged some poor schmuck might get a couple grand to help their family but have no problem with a couple trillion in donor-fare.

Look, as good as this sounds, I have little to no hope that the current emperor, the GOP majority in the House, the goals of Project 2025, their media monopoly, and most of all the Supreme Court would allow Democrats to win the next election. I genuinely fear we may not even have a free and fair election.
The Supreme Court has effectively enabled the emperor, sending the message that no law applies to him as long as he is president.
What keeps me up at night is the fear that the U.S. is dismantling its own greatnes, l sliding toward something resembling North Korea: “we the people” reduced to farm labor just to survive. Be ready to lose weight, y’all.
