Sold some 10/17 ETHU 85p, rolled some 9/19 160c out to 10/17 210 for a nice credit.

Mostly sitting on my hands, letting the ETHU 100/105p and 170/175c IC's expire worthless.
Order in to buy back the ETHU 9/19 70/75p credit spread

Ha! Hopium? Really? You are all truly tired, burnt for years and just plain doubtful of Eth breaking 5k or 10k or more. Very sad. You simply only have 5 to 15 years of investing experience which is kids play. I'm not a crypto investor. But I've always listened to Tom Lee and Warren Buffet and many others and bought trends (stocks) they recommended. And BTW, Tom Lee will be the next Warren Buffet of our lifetime. All you crypto people following cycles and ignoring fundamental reasoning just make me laugh. I like to take a different approach and treat Eth in particular, like a beaten up stock with just a very recent reversal in sentiment. Let's say company XYZ had a previous ATH price of $4.85. Then dropped to $1.40 because of a covid like scenario creating massive disruption in it's core business. Then Covid goes away, and price recovers closer to previous ATH. Then people come back in droves and price starts to pump. Short squeeze happens and Fomo kicks in. Price hits $75. This is AMC. Movie theater chain that got boosted by people going back to theaters with pent up demand. And it was a shitty company that deserved to stay at $5 based on earnings. Eth is a different case. In my opinion it will transform the financial system. I already see it being used in my international transactions such as Swift system. Just the beginning. Oh, and for those of you struggling with my math, just take the decimal place and move it to the right 3 times for Eths price. AMC hitting $75 is like Eth hitting $75,000. For me personally this feels like when I bought NVIDIA in 2017 before AI. Every 5 years I get a strong feeling about a company and I back up truck. NVIDIA made me 250k. I bought ETHU (double Leveraged Eth ETF) on April 9th 2025 when Eth hit $1500. I'm up 510% to 300k.

I backtested buying calls on ETHA (ethereum etf) vs ETHU (2x ethereum etf), and ETHA returns more on the calls due to tighter spreads and no loss in fees for normal moves. ETHU only returns more for huge moves.
In theory it is interesting to think about. Like if we did an option chain on the ETHA $40 jan 2026 calls, and bought a 30 delta call on a 40 delta call. It is essentially like buying calls on ETHU. Greater upside for huge moves up, but higher probability of expiring worthless, and the spreads are worse.

I invested in ETHU and I want out. Please let me get back to even i'll never touch imaginary money again I promise.

Have you thought about BMNR instead of ETHU? Feels like both are leveraged
