With QQQI 13% yield you would need to have about $58,000 invested into the fund.
BTCI has a yield of about 24% it is a new covered call fund using bitcoin. OXLC doesn't use covered calls or bitcoin but has about the same yield. With these funds you would only need $31,000.
Now there is MSTY with the highest yield i know of . you would only need $7560. But be very cautious with this fund the is substantial risk
It is better to spread your money out over a number of funds to minimize risk and get a more stable income. I currently invest in QQQI 13%, ARDC 12%, SPYI 11%, EIC 10%, PBDC 9% RLTY 8%, UTF 7%, UTG 7% SCYB 7%, PFFD6%. I am currently getting 5K a month of income from my portfolio 80% is used to cover my living expenses including health insurance, with 20% reinvested.

SCHD for safety

It has but so are things like VOO. I will never understand how VOO is better for young folks. BTCI and JEPQ are best for starting out

Plus at the end of the day, the tax advantage is that the taxes are deferred until you sell. In an IRA you can sell without paying taxes. Of course, when you take the money out of an IRA it’s ordinary income as opposed to in a tax advantage account. It would be a long-term capital gain.
I’m still working through my strategy here. I have BTCI in my retirement account because I don’t have that kind of risk tolerance in my taxable brokerage.

I love this strategy.
I also love NEOS and QQQI/BTCI as much as the next guy (probably much more), but I would also add some high quality BDCs, CEFs and MLPs to that income slice as you get nearer to retirement to diversify you income stream.

Take the 2M and you can have them both.
1M in SPYI/QQQI/PBDC/PFFA/JBBB/BTCI/FSCO equally for income - weighted average of 13% annually across six asset classes with some managed risk for an fairly aggressive income slice without resorting to single stock covered call funds.
1M in VOO or VTSAX for growth.

Not more than 5% in any one holding, invest across various sectors and types of investments (REITS, CEF, MLP, Equity, Bonds, covered call etfs, etc). Some examples; JEPI, BND, BST, RLTY, CEFS, CLOZ, QQQI, FSCO, BALI, ADX, IDVO, IBIT, BTCI, BSM, MPLX, ARCC, PBDC, PFFA, etc. I like to hold RSP,SCHD, and VOO also. I don’t drip, I look at my portfolio a couple times a month and buy whatever is the best value at the moment. If nothing looks interesting I’ll park money in TLT or BND until I need it. Understand what you own, keep educating yourself constantly. Good luck on your journey

Can you? Possibly. At least for a short period of time. But it likely wouldn't be sustainable.
$24k per year off of a $100k investment is 24% yield. That's 3x the average annual total returns of the S&P 500. If anything like that were guaranteed, everyone would just be doing that.
Right now, your best bet for that kind of thing would be a bitcoin-based covered call ETF. Something like BTCI would get you close. Something like MSTY would get you even more. But if Bitcoin tanks, your investments will tank as well and the monthly income you generate will likely fall too.
This type of thing isn't a good investment strategy and I would only recommend it for the short-term if you're truly desperate for income. Otherwise, you're better off looking at more normal funds - either qualified dividend funds like SCHD that will pay 3-4% per year or more broad-market covered call ETFs like SPYI or QQQI that will pay 12-14% per year.

I really like the Neos funds for long term investing. Sure you cap your potential total returns but it is a great stable fund so far. Leaving it on DRIP to defer most taxes is fantastic. I prefer QQQI and BTCI because I have no interest in owning the underlying and I want to profit off their volatility.

I Just added SPYI, BTCI, and QQI to my IRA this year. I plan to continue to do so, while also adding holdings to my taxable brokerage.
